The Museum of Discovery and
Science is on track to unveil one of the most successful black tie galas to date—The
Mercedes-Benz of Fort Lauderdale Dragon Skies of China Gala—hosted by S.P.A.R.K.,
October 8, 2005. More than 700 guests will revel in an elegant evening of fine dining, live music
and dancing, with auctions featuring luxurious trips to exciting destinations, special vacation home packages,
exquisite jewelry, private dinner parties and excursions on private jets. Guests will also experience an
exclusive tour of the new exhibit, Dragon Skies: Astronomy of Imperial
China, sponsored by the Rand Eye Institute.
The evening will commence at 6 p.m. with a cocktail reception, silent auction and
