The Science of Art

Why is the sky blue and why is grass green? Combine your love of chemistry with art to make paint and weave your own textiles with materials from nature. Explore unconventional methods to create art through science. Make colorful stained glass, tie-dyed shirts, and art pieces using solar energy.

Food Science!

Go on an adventure through different ecosystems in North America! We’ll explore the highest of mountains, the deepest caves, and the driest deserts to learn about the organisms that call them home. Go behind the scenes and visit some of our resident animals. Create compasses and navigate your way to hidden treasures!

Calling all athletes! Put your running shoes on and join us for the 2016 Summer Olympics! Learn how athletes use science to function under extreme conditions and how they condition their hearts, lungs, and muscles to work to their fullest potential. MODS Olympians will compete in various games and challenges and they will even find that animals can be Olympians too!

Dissection Inspection
