Camp Discovery for ages 6-12
Camp Discovery is designed to give children entire days filled with exploration and hands-on learning. Camp runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (before and after care is available). Camp fee includes all workshop materials and chaperoned exhibit exploration. Children should bring two snacks, lunch and a drink. The Subway Café is available as a lunch option. We’ll learn about the science behind some of the cool natural wonders in our parks, and meet some of the animals found in Florida’s very own Everglades National Park. If you are in 4th grade, you’ll have the opportunity to sign up for NPS Every Kid In a Park program!

Beyond The Karman Line: Space Academy

Appropriate for Grade 7 - 8
The Karman Line lies at an altitude of 100km above the Earth's sea level, and commonly represents the boundary between the Earth's atmosphere and outer space. Take a trip through space in our state-of-the-art planetarium! Learn what it takes to prepare for outer space, to break Earth’s gravity, and survive Beyond the Karman Line!
*This camp will conclude on Friday with a trip to Kennedy Space Center!
Space Academy Camp is $225 for members; $250 for non-members.
